1/50 Caterpillar 785D Mining Truck

The Caterpillar Off-Highway Mining Dump Truck is designed almost exclusively for work in high production mining and quarry operations. It is a perfect pass match for large mining wheel loaders like the Caterpillar 992 and 993. 

This model comes presented in the Diecast Masters Core Classics Series cardboard box PVC style packaging which provides high quality photos and information on both the scale model and its real-life counterpart.

The model features accurate Caterpillar Power Edge Era paint, decals and trade dress used by Caterpillar from 2007 to 2018. An operator figure is included and permanently installed inside the cab - It cannot be removed. The operator's station and cab is detailed, including operator's seat, levers, pedals and controls. 

Detailed pieces are abundant with this 785D model, including side-view mirrors, lights, access ladders and stairs, yellow hydraulic lift rams, exhaust, air cleaner, gear levers, hand and grab railings, rock deflectors and more! It has free-rolling rubber tires with realistic tread pattern and bolt detailing inside the wheel hubs. Its front axle is steerable, and it has functioning rear axle suspension and metal rock deflectors between its rear tires. Its large capacity dump body can be raised and lowered via large hydraulic arms. Its small gate can be opened for access to the top of the machine and cab. Its right side mirrors are foldable.
