In the fall of 1974, White Farm Equipment introduced the new Field Boss line of tractors painted in argent silver and charcoal gray. The new streamlined Argent Silver Field Boss line of tractors replaced White Farm Equipment's Oliver Meadow Green, Minneapolis-Moline Energy Yellow and Cockshutt Sumac Red tractor lines. One of the first new Field Boss tractors was the model 2-105. The 2-105 was offered from 1974-1982 and was powered by a 105 HP 354 cubic inch Perkins engine.
