The “Green Steiger Tractor Story” begins on the Steiger family farm through the building of the family's first four-wheel drive articulated tractor during the winter months of 1957/58. With the move from the farm to Fargo in 1969, all the series of green tractors are looked at in depth, and on to the time when the Steiger name was removed from the tractor with the introduction of the Case International 9100 Series in 1987. Due to popular demand, the Steiger name returned with the Case IH 9300 Series in 1995, and onwards to the future.
